SINGLE SESSIONS · REMOTE, WORLDWIDE

Something specific, dealt with now.

One session at a time, for the thing in front of you. Usually arranged the same day, delivered remotely, and it makes no difference whether you are in Siem Reap or ten thousand miles from it.

WHO ASKS FOR THESE, AND WHEN

Two kinds of people ask for these, and they have almost nothing in common.

The first are here for a week and something has gone wrong with it. Jet lag that has not shifted by day four. A throat that started in the night. A stomach that has taken against the food. Legs that have had enough of temples. No sleep at all the night before a fourteen-hour flight.

The second have never been to Cambodia and want one thing dealt with properly, on its own, with nothing to follow. That is not unusual. A good number of the practice's longest-standing clients began with one session and no intention of a second.

Most are done while you are somewhere else entirely, doing something else entirely — at work, on a bus, or asleep. A great deal happens; almost none of it is asked of you.

The shortest way to stop taking anybody's word for it.
Sessions are delivered wherever you are. This is the house the work goes out from.

WHAT CAN BE ASKED FOR

Arriving, and sleeping

Jet Lag
for the arrival that has not finished arriving.
Circadian Reset
for a body clock still on the wrong continent after several days.
Deep Sleep Restoration
for the fourth bad night in a row.
Fall Asleep Fast
for the night the mind will not stop and the alarm is set for five.
Altitude
for anyone just down from thin air, or about to go up into it.

The first signs of something

Cold Onset
for the first hour you know it is coming.
Rapid Cold
for when it has already arrived and you have plans.
Sore Throat
for the one that is worse by the evening than it was at noon.
Night Cough
for the cough that is keeping you, and the room, awake.
Sinus
for a head that will not clear in the heat.
Acute Viral Illness
for the worst two days of it, when comfort is the entire object.
Immune System
before you fly, or when everyone around you has it.
Blocked Ear
after a flight, or after the pool.

The stomach, and what got into it

Food Poisoning
for the day it was definitely the food.
Stomach
for four days of not trusting anything you eat.
Nausea
for the bus, the boat, or the morning after.
Digestive System
for a week of nothing quite settling since you landed.
Parasite Clearance
for the weeks afterwards, when the tests are clear and you are not.
Pre-Celebration
for the long evening ahead. Asked for before it, not after.
Hangover
for the morning after, when prevention was not the plan.

The body, after a day of it

for heat, glare and dehydration, or for the kind that turns out to be the neck.
Muscle Tension
for shoulders that have been up around your ears since the airport.
Ankle and Foot
for twelve thousand steps on uneven sandstone.
Neck, Shoulder and Upper Back
for a bad flight seat, a bad pillow, or a long tuk-tuk.
Post-Exertion Recovery
for the ache that arrives the following morning.
Full Body Joint Lubrication
for the ones who felt every temple staircase.

Nerves, and focus

Anxiety
for a week that has got on top of you.
Calm
for no particular reason, which is a good enough reason.
Fear of Flying
for the week beforehand as much as the flight itself.
Focus
for working through a holiday, which most people end up doing.
Mental Energy
for a mind that has gone flat in the heat.

Looking like yourself again

Face
before an event, or before the photographs.
Skin Hydration
for skin that has been in aeroplanes, air conditioning and sun.
Under Eye
for the eyes that show the flight.

The room you wake up in

Room Energisation
for a hotel room that does not feel right. The same work that is done on houses, offices and land, concentrated on one room for the week you are in it. People who ask for it once usually ask about their own house afterwards.

These are the ones asked for most. The library runs to well over a thousand.

A DIFFERENT KIND OF SINGLE SESSION

Some people come for the jet lag and stay for this.

Everything above is aimed at one thing, and it is done when that thing is done.

One more thing can be asked for as a single session, and it is a different order of work. The mental and emotional work can be taken as one hour, aimed at one thing, on whatever you have been carrying for years and have stopped expecting to put down. It is the one kind of session with a time attached, and it is received lying down.

Trapped Emotions
for something held in the body that has never had anywhere to go.
Fear Release
for the fear that has quietly decided what you are willing to attempt.
Emotional Balance
for feeling at the mercy of your own reactions.
Emotional Trauma
for a specific thing that happened, and has not finished happening.
Nervous System Reset
for a system that has been braced for a long time.
Confidence
for the gap between what you are capable of and what you put forward.

These are the ones clients write back about unprompted. Their words, not the practice's:

Something released that had been locked in me for years. The effect on my life, my relationships, and my business was immediate and real.

Male client, UK and Vietnam · Mental & emotional work

Colleagues came to ask what had happened to me. They said I smile all the time now, that I look more beautiful, and that my whole energy has changed.

Female client, Singapore · Mental & emotional work

People listen to me now. Before, bosses wouldn't register what I said — it went unheard, or dismissed. Suddenly they hang on every word. My creativity and ideas are through the roof.

Male client · Mental & emotional work

The thing being worked on here is not this week's problem. It is whatever has been setting the terms for the last twenty years.

Every account is a client's own words, published with their consent, with names and identifying details removed. They describe individual subjective experience. They are not medical evidence, and no particular result is promised.

Say what you would want to be different. You will be told whether one session is the right shape for it, and sometimes the answer is that it is not.

HOW IT WORKS

One

Say what is wrong, in a sentence. WhatsApp, WeChat, Telegram or email — whichever you actually use.

Two

You get a time back, usually the same day. Sessions run between ten in the morning and nine at night, Indochina time.

Three

Then nothing. You do not have to be anywhere, awake, or keeping track of the time. Where a session does need you lying down, you are told before you agree to it.

Four

Nothing afterwards either. No exercises, no regime, nothing to keep up.

What these are not.

A single session is not treatment and it is not a diagnosis. If you are unwell in a way that needs a doctor, see a doctor — Siem Reap has good ones, and a name will be sent to you if you ask.

Nothing here is a reason to change or stop a prescription. Medication is a conversation with the person who prescribed it, and only with them.

If it is urgent, this is the wrong page.

This is not an emergency service. For chest pain, difficulty breathing, a head injury, sudden weakness or confusion, severe bleeding, a high fever in a child, or anything you would ordinarily call an ambulance for, contact emergency services or go to a hospital now.

Fever in Cambodia.

Dengue is common here and worth having looked at properly. Comfort support alongside proper medical care is fine. Instead of it is not.

IF YOU ARE IN SIEM REAP

You are already in the one place where this can be felt rather than read.

The sanctuary is on the edge of town, and an hour in it can usually be arranged while you are here. Most clients live on the other side of the world and never get the chance.

It is the one part of this that cannot be put on a page. Everything else here can be described. That cannot.

Questions

Questions

One sentence about what is wrong is the whole of the enquiry.

Say what it is and where you are. A time comes back, usually the same day, and there is nothing to arrange beyond that.
